密接なかかわりをもってきたこともあり、癒しや和みを感じさせてくれるものです。
竹は4～5年で成長し、農薬を使わないことからも環境に優しく、
木の代替素材としても利用されるなど次世代の素材として注目されています。
私どもは21世紀に相応しい暮らしの道具として、竹製品を作り続けてまいります。
Design concept : what's new
Fusion between classics and moderns is an everlasting idea for making new and fresh bamboo crafts. We’d usually like to create new items, and we think our traditions always go together with a series of renovations, sincerely and good sensitivity.
Beautiful slope lined up : sincerity and delicacy
It will be said and handed down from generation to generation. Kohchosai Kosuga is basically rooted in 1965 at the time during business trip of Hachiroh Kosuga(president) to Kantoh district, on a beautiful morning on 15th January in 1965. He was starting from Shizuoka to Tokyo and when crossing a Fujigawa bridge, his eyes were fascinated by beautiful M’t FUJI with fresh snow on the top and with no clouds and all just beautiful transparent blue sky. He found the beauty of Fujisan in the grand, beautiful and long slope of both right and left, and he determined to design and produce beautifully lined up bamboo arts and crafts in his life. And we make much more of quality first than any others.
